Of course you do! Fortunately for us, the Japanese side of smashbros.com is actually considering requests from fans about characters, stages, music, and most everything else in the game. Let the Krystal fans be heard!
Follow these simple steps:
- Go to http://cgi.nintendo.co.jp/cgi-bin/smashbros/article.cgi.
- Enter your name or nickname in the first text box.
- Select the second option in the drop down list. That means that your message is related to a game character.
-
Enter the following into the second text box:
私は極度の粉砕の兄弟の口論に星の孤からのそのKrystal を含まれている要求する。
(This is a rough translation of "I request that Krystal from Star Fox be included in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.")
- Click the submit button at the bottom.
- On the next page, click the button on the left to sumbit (the right one lets you change your entry). They ask that you don't submit duplicates and to wait a little while before submitting something else, so please be considerate.
If you want to add anything else, it's up to you to figure out how to get it translated. You might try dictionary.com's translator.
You bet! You might be thinking that we could start an online petition, but online petitions don't work. There is no way to verify unique signatures. However, what would happen if Nintendo's headquarters got an envelope full of actual written signatures requesting Krystal? I don't know either, but it would certainly let them know what we Krystal fans want! So here's the plan...
If you want Krystal to be in Super Smash Bros. Brawl:
- Write out your signature (your real name) on a piece of paper.
-
Scan it into your computer. (300 dpi in color preferred.) Crop out everything but the actual signature (don't send me the whole page).
- If you happen to have a handwriting tablet, an image generated by that will be acceptable too.
- You can also take a digital picture if nothing else is available. Just make sure it's not blurry and zoomed in fairly close.
-
Email the image and your typed real name (I'm terrible at reading signatures) to me at mrkrystal@gmail.com.
- You can include a personal message too, but make sure it's Krystal related, as well as clean and upbeat.
I will compile the signatures and send a letter containing our request and signatures to Nintendo's headquarters.
